Syvota

Syvota is a seaside village in the south of the prefecture of Thesprotia. The population is consisted of 875 permanent residents.
Syvota is one of the main seaside resorts of Epirus and consistently attracts numerous tourists from both Greece and abroad during the summer period.

The settlement is built in a small bay in which various islets are scattered, the main of which are Agios Nikolaos, Mavro Oros and Mourtemeno.

Some important sights of the area are the monastery of Agia Paraskevi, the lighthouse of the Mavro Oros island built in 1884 as well as the ancient settlement of Vrachonas.

The main beaches of the area include Mikri and Megali Ammos, Bella Vraka, Zavia, Pisina, Zeri and Gallikos Molos.
